Klingenburg, one of world's leading manufacturers of heat recovery systems, has a 27-year track record and a reputation for high quality and product innovation.
Recent innovations provide counterflow plate heat exchangers with heat recovery efficiencies of up to 85% for standard heating and ventilation applications.
When applied to fresh air input units the high efficiency heat recovery can eliminate the need for additional low pressure hot water or electric heating coils, thereby reducing running, capital and installation costs.
As a major supplier of thermal wheels throughout the world, Klingenburg has comprehensive capability, supplying wheels up to 6 metres in diameter for applications as diverse as HVAC, high temperature process heat recovery up to 650oC and specialist paint booth rotors for major motor vehicle manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Honda and Volkswagen.
Klingenburg estimates that use of its products has already reduced annual CO2 emissions by in the region of 90m tons in Germany, equivalent to 30,000,000mWh energy saving.
Andrew Patch, OEM Sales Manager of Reznor, comments: "Recognising that ventilation loss forms the major part of energy consumption in HVAC systems it is essential that heat recovery is applied wherever possible".
