15,000th licence for Amtech FastTest software
MandE contractor Longcross Engineering has become the 15,000th licensee of Amtech's FastTest Test and Inspection software.
Check out www.gascert.com for full details.
GasCert is designed to be used on a PC or laptop and a mobile version for the Pocket PC is also available.
The software is very easy to use, the certificate shown on screen is similar to the paper one currently used, details and test results are entered in the same the same way.
The computer version has extra time saving features to make this even simpler, client details are stored so they don't need to be typed in each time and handy drop-down menus make light work of entering information.
No more scruffy hand-written certificates, they can even be printed in colour and a company logo may be added for a professional image.
The certificates can be printed on plain paper so there is no need to purchase expensive stationery or certificate numbers.
The software stores the finished certificates and all the information about customers, previous jobs and installations.
This means much of the information is already available when producing certificates, just key in the customer's name and GasCert fills in the address and contact details, this reduces errors and saves time.
This is particularly good for re-test work, the software knows which certificates are about to expire and will alert the engineer beforehand and will even print out reminder letters to send to the customer.
If an appliance is found to be unsafe to use then the certificate will generate a Warning Notice.
This will already contain all the customer details saving even more time.
When finished, the certificate can be printed using a standard printer onto plain paper.
Some versions of GasCert allow the user to add an electronic signature to the certificate and email it direct to the client.
The GasCert range includes GasCert Mobile which for use on a Pocket PC.
The details are entered onto the Pocket PC on site and printed out on a suitable portable printer.
The certificate can be completed and printed there and then - the job is completed in one visit.
GasCert comes in two versions to suit all types of business. Request a free brochure from Amtech Power Software ...
