Held for the first time in 1990 by Analyses et Syntheses, Identech 2005 has become the international reference as a trade show for identification techniques.

With a growing concern for security awareness, the 2005 edition takes on a new dimension this year by proposing a series of 12 conferences and 110 presentations by international experts.

Identech will provide users looking for solutions, innovation and information with all the tools they need to help install people identification and goods authentication systems.

One of the main questions facing our society today is how to secure, control, monitor and manage areas both public and private.

The area could be an office, a factory, an entertainment venue, a sports stadium, a museum, a nuclear power plant, a port or an airport.

The area could even be a town, region or country - as well as virtual space on the Internet.

Identech 2005 will address what methods and techniques are currently available for identifying people and property as well as all the data in real or virtual space.

Identech 2005 will also answer questions regarding security by presenting the latest techniques and solutions available today on the international market.

Each business sector has its own unique specificities and needs.

Techniques must be adapted to meet these differences.

Eighty companies specializing in different sectors will attend the event and will present their innovations in the field of extremely secure systems, including biometry, cards, badges, Smart cards (with and without contact), secure administrative documents, identity management, RFID, tokens, intelligence video, and more.

Identech will cover 35,000 square feet at the Parc Chanot in Marseille, from June 7th to the 9th, 2005.
