Wall ties that meet Part E Building Regulations
Ancon has recently tested its cavity wall ties to the new Part E of the Building Regulations: Resistance to the passage of sound.
Part E aims to increase the sound insulation of walls and, like many other materials, ties must now be tested on their ability to transmit airborne sound.
Independent tests have proven that Ancon has fixing solutions that meet the new performance requirements for both internal and external walls.
Literature is now available that outlines the new requirements and summarises the test results for Ancon and Staifix wall ties.
