Apollo Fire Detectors exhibiting at Marintec China

Apollo Fire Detectors will be exhibiting its world-class fire detection technology at this year's Marintec China exhibition in Shanghai (Hall 2 Stand 2E61).

Apollo Fire Detectors will be exhibiting its world-class fire detection technology at this year's Marintec China exhibition in Shanghai (Hall 2 Stand 2E61).

It will be Apollo's first appearance at Marintec and represents a new direction for the company, which sees the Chinese marine market as a major growth area.

On show will be Apollo's marine-approved Orbis conventional detectors, Discovery analogue addressable detectors, and control equipment.

All these products are approved by the China Classification Society (CCS) for marine use.

The Orbis range of smoke and heat detectors was also recently certified under the Marine Equipment Directive (MED), which harmonises international safety standards for marine equipment across the European Union.

The Discovery range of intelligent smoke and heat detectors is designed to meet the needs of sophisticated systems while providing engineers with an additional dimension in fire protection capability.

Both the Orbis and the Discovery marine ranges are approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the American Bureau of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas and Germanischer Lloyd.
