New Managing Director for Apollo
Apollo Fire Detectors has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director, Danny Burns.
Apollo Fire Detectors Limited has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director, Danny Burns, who took up his new post from 23 January Danny replaces Michael Hamilton, who has been Apollo's MD for the last five years

Michael is joining parent company Halma plc as Director-Business Development of the Fire Division.
Danny joins Apollo with considerable experience of working in major corporations, including Philips, Siemens and Schlumberger.
He spent the first nine years of his career in electronic design and development before moving into sales and marketing and, ultimately, into general management.
Most recently, Danny was a Managing Director within Vitec Group.
He holds a BSC in Electronics from Glasgow University and an MSC in Systems Design from Surrey University.
Chairman of Apollo Fire Detectors and Divisional Chief Executive of Halma Fire Division, Neil Quinn comments: "Danny brings a wealth of experience in managing high volume electronics manufacturing operations and a strong customer-focused sales and marketing background".
"He is committed to working with the Apollo team to ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the level of products and service required in today's competitive environment." Adds Neil Quinn: "Michael and I will be working together on specific initiatives to grow the Fire Division over the coming years".
"I am delighted that he is taking up the position and we will both be giving Danny our full support." Michael also began his new post on 23 January.
