A-Plant rolling contract with Malcolm Group

A-Plant has secured a 12-month rolling preferred supplier contract from Malcolm Construction Services, part of the Malcolm Group, based at Paisley in Scotland.

The new contract win for A-Plant, one of the country's largest plant and tool hire businesses, is estimated to be worth circa GBP900,000 per annum.

The contract was awarded based on the good service offered by company, the breadth of the product offering and availability of the A-Plant fleet and the excellent relationship between the two companies.

Malcolm Construction Services is a one-stop major contractor for comprehensive civil engineering and groundwork services throughout central Scotland.

An enviable combination of in-house expertise and assets at Malcolm Construction Services allows the company to respond rapidly to client needs: from bulk excavation and infrastructure to waste management.

In addition, the company is fast becoming renowned throughout the UK as a specialist contractor for indoor and outdoor leisure pitches.

Malcolm Construction Services is a division of The Malcolm Group, a leading provider of logistics and construction services, employing assets of over 1,600 people, 450 trucks, 1,000 trailers, 120 items of heavy plant and over 3 million square feet of warehousing throughout the UK.
