A Proctor Group products help Lymm Water
Tower

A Proctor Group have supplied many of their wide range of products to a highly unusual project in the picturesque village of Lymm in Cheshire.

A derelict, Grade II listed water tower has been converted into a contemporary home of the future for its' current owners The octagonal, stone built building has been redundant for the past 30 years although the upper part of the tower has been utilised by several mobile phone companies to house their masts

The masts have been disguised sympathetically so as to blend in with the local environment.

The A Proctor Group have supplied many of their wide range of products to this project.

Sylomer Strips were supplied for the floor of the control room as there was a tremendous load being applied to the floor by all the phone equipment.

Sylomer is a technically advanced resilient foam which has a unique cell structure that has excellent acoustic properties.

Profloor Acoustic Mat was also supplied to overcome the problem of impact noise through the floors.

Two of The Group's range of breathable membranes were also used.

Frameshield 100, a water resistant, spunbonded polypropylene was used as a breather membrane behind timber cladding, whilst Roofshield, a high specification, water proof, triple laminate was used to temporarily waterproof window openings.

Roofshield is primarily designed as a waterproof, vapour permeable underlay for use in both warm and cold pitched roofs without the requirement for ventilation to the roof void, and is covered by two British Board of Agrement Certificates for this purpose.
