M.Camilleri and Sons are using Roofshield from A.Proctor Group to ensure they meet their commitment to provide a trouble free roof for the future.

For 125 years, the David Morgan store, a Grade 2 listed building has been a landmark in the centre of Cardiff.

It is now being converted into Retail and Residential units by the Main Contractor HGB Construction .

Western.

The upgrading of the relatively complex roof comprising of mansards as well as pitched roofs was entrusted to M.Camilleri and Sons of Sully, Vale of Glamorgan one of Wales's leading roofing contractors.

They are using the country's leading high performance breather membrane Roofshield to ensure they meet their commitment to provide a trouble free roof for the future.

Steve Savory, Camilleri Roofing's Managing Quantity Surveyor stated "We use Roofshield as we have complete confidence in it as a product, having the highest vapour permeability and lowest vapour resistance of any breather membrane on the market".

"Importantly for us, particularly in a refurbishment project such as this, it is also fully watertight, enabling it to be used as temporary protection prior to installation of the final roof coverings".

Roofshield is manufactured in the U.K.

and marketed by The A.Proctor Group who for over 40 years has been serving the Construction Industry with an extensive portfolio of technically advanced Membrane, Acoustic and Thermal products.

The result of a 5 year intensive research and development programme and 10 years market experience gives Roofshield its unrivalled pedigree when used in pitched roof applications.

It is the highest performing triple laminate vapour permeable roof underlay available on the market today.

It has excellent water hold out properties and carries two British Board of Agreement Certificates for use in warm BBA96/3220 and cold BBA99/3648 pitched roofs without the need for provision of expensive ventilation to the roof-space.
