A Proctor Group to launch online CPD

A Proctor Group to launch its Geo Engineering CPD 'Building on Contaminated Land' on-line.

The A Proctor Group has been providing R.I.B.A approved CPD Seminars to Architects, Local Authorities and Construction Engineers for a number of years.

During September 2007 The A Proctor Group will launch its' Geo Engineering CPD "Building on Contaminated Land" on-line.

The CPD will give an overview of contaminated land and the associated risks when building on this land.

It will give a broad outline of the recently issued CIRIA document 659 which assesses the risks posed by hazardous ground gasses for buildings and it will also show a case study on how a engineered gas protection system will give your client peace of mind.

October will see the launch, on-line, of their second CPD, Construction Membranes "Condensation in the Roof space".

This seminar discusses the requirements for Breather Membranes and Vapour Control Layers and looks at the principles of condensation; the effect that condensation can cause in the roof space and deals with detailing of insulated pitched roofs.

It also looks at condensation controlling measures and at the solutions.

Both of these online CPDS are R.I.B.A.

approved and they will also be available via their website.
