Roofshield help upgrade The Culloden Hotel
In the recent upgrade of the 5 star Culloden Hotel in Belfast, contractors used Roofshield to inhibit the formation of condensation in the roofspace.
At the request of the contractor Baseline Construction The A.Proctor Group's technical department calculated that there was a condensation risk in the roof system and as bulk insulation was being installed there was concern about mould growth and loss of thermal performance.
The roof system also has Styrofoam Deckmate thermal break strips over the purlins to stop thermal bridging.
Roofshield is manufactured in the U.K.and marketed by The A.Proctor Group who for over 40years has been serving the Construction Industry with an extensive portfolio of technically advanced Membrane, Acoustic and Thermal products The result of a 5 year intensive research and development programme and ten years market experience gives Roofshield its unrivalled pedigree when used in pitched roof applications.
It is the highest performing triple laminate vapour permeable roof underlay available on the market today.
It has excellent water hold out properties and carries two British Board of Agreement Certificates for use in warm BBA96/3220 and cold BBA99/3648 pitched roofs without the need for provision of expensive ventilation to the roof-space.
