Aphel launches ultra-dense blade server PDUs
Aphel announced the launch of the DBH2 Series of Rackmount PDUs to support blade servers.
Aphel today announced the launch of the DBH2 Series of Rackmount PDUs to support blade servers.
DBH2 represents the first of a number of ultra-dense power solutions Aphel will be delivering to the market this year.
"The release of DBH2 provides a sophisticated solution for the next generation of hardware and high density enclosures." said Kevin Macomber, Vice President of Business Development.
"Its ability to support up to six, 2,900 Watt servers with four power supplies is simply unprecedented".
DBH2 provides an amazing 17,200 Watts of power in a compact 2U chassis.
Models are available with either twelve C19 or L6-15R (twistlock) outlets to achieve redundancy.
Optional satellite power units are available to support smaller servers and ancillary equipment.
Employing the Easy-ReadTM digital ammeter, users can read the high-resolution color display from as far as 12 feet or through the enclosure door perforation.
Because it can support so many large servers, DBH2 reduces the number of plenum cables and simplifies installation.
Aphel is a global supplier of high density, fault-tolerant power solutions for mission critical Datacenters, Technical Office, Laboratory and Retail environments.
During 2005, Aphel manufactured 3,000 unique power solutions and is recognized as one of the most flexible power solution manufacturers in the world.
