Polypipe has acquired the assets of the Silavent Group, a move which will strengthen Polypipe's position in the UK ventilation systems market.

The company already has a significant presence in the form of the Domus product range from Polypipe Ventilation.

The Silavent brand will complement Polypipe's existing portfolio, bringing common ownership of the industry's strongest ventilation brands.

The move also accelerates Polypipe's strategic initiative to advance its presence in the ventilation market.

Made up of 28 principal brands across 10 companies, Polypipe manufactures a comprehensive range of plastic piping systems for the residential, commercial and infrastructure markets across Europe.

Polypipe has grown into a global organisation, producing around 15,000 products for water, air, energy and telecoms applications.

Polypipe has achieved sustainable growth year on year.
