Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 30, 2007

Aqata, one of the UK's leading independent manufacturers of shower enclosures, has appointed Terry Warren as its new sales agent for the North West.

As Aqata continues to grow its operations throughout the UK, Terry becomes the third new person to join the Aqata sales force in 2007.

Based in Lancashire, Terry has 16 years of experience in the bathroom and shower industry, having previously held positions as an Area Sales Manager covering the North West with Hansgrohe and Broughtons of Accrington.

Working for each company for eight years, Terry's roles involved close liaison with retail outlets and merchants in the bathroom industry.

Terry's main responsibility at Aqata will be to develop existing relationships with retailers and also to introduce new retailers to the Aqata brand in the North West.

Jayne Barnes, Sales and Operations Director of Aqata, says: "Terry has many years experience in the bathroom industry, and as someone who is able to work on his own initiative to create and develop business, is an excellent addition to the Aqata team".

"As a company we are celebrating 21 years in business during 2007, and will be introducing new products to the industry over the coming months".

"Our sales force will be instrumental in the success of our new products, and I look forward to working with Terry over the coming months" Terry says: "I decided to leave Hansgrohe to work for myself, and would not have considered working for another company unless they were the best within their market sector".

"Aqata manufactures high quality shower enclosures, and is a company renowned for its innovation and design precision".

"I am looking forward to participating in Aqata's future growth within the UK".

Terry was appointed as Aqata's new sales agent following the retirement of David Jowett, who worked for Aqata for 20 years.
