Irish window fabricators use Rapierstar fasteners

Ireland based fabricator Malplas, has made the decision to use Rapierstar stainless steel fastener products for all exposed fastener applications.

The decision reflects the growing move towards quality specification of window components within the Irish market.

Malplas was established in 2000 by high profile window figure Gerry Mallon and the company manufactures windows and doors for the trade and commercial markets across Ireland.

Rapierstar supplies fasteners along with ancillary components to Malplas under a supply chain management arrangement.

Irish Paul McAuley Irish sales manager, Rapierstar said: "The cost savings from the efficiencies that our supply chain management service offers, more than outweigh the marginal cost impact of opting for high performance stainless fasteners in place of lower grade carbon steel alternatives".

"With deep stock levels, Rapierstar can also maintain minimum price fluctuations across many of its products".
