West Cumberland Hospital gets the Ardex treatment
Ardex worked with flooring contractors TT Flooring of Workington, who were commissioned to install the floorcoverings for the refurbished West Cumberland Hospital.
Lasercroft have used ARDEX industrial flooring systems on many successful installations and were confident they would meet the requirements perfectly.
The brief was to refurbish the floor of the kitchen 'wash up' area at the Freeman Hospital, resulting in a level, hard wearing and easy to clean floor surface.
Specifically developed to be suitable for use in food processing environments, drinks production, dairies, general heavy duty plant and traffic areas, ARDEX R80P Heavy Duty Polyurethane Screed was specified as the ideal solution.
ARDEX R80P is a high performance, slip resistant resin flooring system, which is ideally suited for use in aggressive areas where a seamless, joint free finish is required and maximum cleanliness is vital.
ARDEX R80P is supplied as four components in pre-measured packs for ease of on site mixing and use, which proved to be a key benefit on this installation, where access was restricted within the kitchen at the hospital.
Produced in a range of colours to complement varying environments, light green was chosen for this particular project.
'This project required a high quality, cost efficient installation, we knew that by using ARDEX industrial flooring systems we would meet the criteria with ease.
The end result was a perfect floor which both ourselves and Freeman Hospital are delighted with', commented Roy Clark of Lasercroft. Request a free brochure from Ardex UK ...
