Architectural roofing and cladding experts, Ash and Lacy Building Systems, have supplied a range of their innovative Ashfab flashings to enhance the visual appeal of the Towers Business Park in Rugeley, Staffordshire Inspiration for the contemporary design of the development originated from the cooling towers of an old power station

Accurate perimeter detailing was deemed crucial to the design of the park's buildings as they needed to blend in with the skyline and the surrounding views.

Ash and Lacy were called upon to create the look of modernity by employing a range of Ashfab components, including scintilla, galvanised and liner flashings.

Bespoke applications featuring several curved and powder coated flashings of up to six metres in length were used to decorate the front facade of the courtyards, whilst specialist stucco aluminium sabre tooth openings and rainwater systems were also supplied.

The overall effect is a visually stunning, futuristic business park, which gives an impression of sophistication and quality for its occupants.

Ken Moseley, Quality and Purchasing Director for Traditional Structures, the company responsible for the cladding work, chose Ash and Lacy for several reasons - "We have a long term association with Ash and Lacy".

"They are able to offer good price performance with quality standards, combined with knowledge and technical expertise on roofing".

"They notice the details and are able to fulfil our requirements".

Ash and Lacy has a full technical support team, knowledgeable in their field of sheet metal pattern development techniques.

They use the latest CAD tools to produce highly accurate drawings and the Ashfab specialist department is on hand to assist customers with the best total envelope solution.

Owned by Pritchard Construction, the Towers Business Park development covers almost 50 acres of reclaimed land is a much needed boost for the local economy.

It is expected that the park, featuring a six storey tower with its several courtyards which lends itself to the name 'tower,' will help to create 700 extra jobs and 500,000 sq.ft.of space for high specification business units, low offices and other industrial uses.
