Free project viewer for Asta Powerproject files

Now everyone in construction will be able to read and interrogate Asta Powerproject files - using free Project Viewer.

Asta Development, the leader in project management software for construction, launches its free tool to enable the entire construction industry to view project plans created in Asta Powerproject - Asta Project Viewer.

The freely distributed tool, also available as a download from www.astadev.com, enables every individual involved in the planning and management of a construction project to see the plans, without having Asta Powerproject software installed.

Asta Project Viewer is ideal for staff within clients, contractors and third party organisations - anyone who needs to see, interrogate and print plans.

Even though Asta Powerproject is used for over 70% of successful UK construction projects*, access to it within a main contractor is usually restricted to the planners and project managers.

Now plans can be shared with any colleagues to ensure everyone is kept in the communications loop.

A shortcut is simply emailed to recipients which they open using a browser.

The Project Viewer interface is exactly the same as Asta Powerproject.

The Asta In addition, the client can see the plans and progress updates using Asta Project Viewer.

Importantly, the main contractor (as the host Asta Powerproject user) can control the access to the plans - therefore the client only sees the parts that you want them to see.

Also controlled access can be made available to third parties such as designers, consultants, architects, site managers, sub-contractors and surveyors.
