Asta Powerproject is the project management software used most widely by UK construction contractors Three-quarters of UK construction contractors use Asta Powerproject for planning and managing their construction projects according to preliminary results from a nationwide survey carried out as part of an international research project, 'Developing Protocols for Virtual Prototyping'
The initial findings from the survey, which were presented at the 3rd Annual National User Forum for Asta Powerproject in London on 22 November 2006, found that next most widely used project management software tools are Microsoft Project and Primavera with 29% and 25% usage respectively.
Almost two-thirds (64%) of contractors cited Asta Powerproject as the project management software they most frequently use against 16% for Primavera and 9% for Microsoft Project.
