Improve Management of Building Assets
World's leading hospitality, leisure and entertainment design firm integrates Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Buzzsaw to improve management of building assets.
Recent new wins have included Barking Riverside (believed to be one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe), Gleeson Building Ltd and Bristol City Council which is using Buzzsaw on its £20 million Colston Hall redevelopment.
Globally, there are currently over 200,000 Buzzsaw licences in use with a total of seven million files being managed at Autodesk?s multiple international data centres.
Buzzsaw is an on-demand tool that makes all project drawings and other documentation available online whenever they are needed.
Designed to keep projects on schedule and within budget, it enables users to communicate, share and track project information and drawings throughout project teams, giving project managers complete control.
?The market is experiencing an urgent need for a solution that is fast to install and straightforward for a complete range of disciplines to use,? says Ellis.
?Buzzsaw sites can be accessed by hundreds of authorised users from an extended project team ? from architects and engineers to legal professionals and planners.
Consequently, ease of use is always a major consideration".
He adds that while Autodesk continues to add to its traditional customer base of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and retailers, it is seeing increasing adoption by both home-builders and local authorities.
?We considered all the main solutions on the market, but thought that some products available were too complex and would start to dictate how we use our processes,? says Brian Jeffery, IT director of Gleeson Building Ltd which has recently invested in the solution.
