BAS-2000 SoftLogic Digital Controllers
Advantech have introduced the BAS-2000 Series of SoftLogic Digital Controllers for building automation applications.
The new building automation product line kicks off with four products: BAS-2514 14 channel SoftLogic Digital Controller, BAS-2520 20 channel SoftLogic Digital Controller, as well as BAS-2014 and BAS-2020 I/O Expansion Modules The BAS-2520 and BAS-2514 controllers are designed with universal I/O and over 30 function block libraries

The BAS-2000 series also supports Modbus/RTU and BACnet MS/TP protocols for compatibility with existing building automation networks.
Furthermore, the BAS-2520 and BAS-2514 can expand its I/O capacity for up to 80 I/O points by adding the BAS-2020 and BAS-2014 I/O expansion modules.
The BAS-2000 series comes with over 30 built-in function block libraries, allowing faster and easier control programming.
For instance, if you would like to create a control program for the equipment scheduling start/stop function, you can simply pull out the "Schedule" function block instead of writing the control program.
The BAS-2000 series supports both BACnet MS/TP and Modbus/RTU protocols.
This enables easy integration with existing building automation networks.
If the BAS-2000 controllers are applied as a sub-system in a BA control network with the BACnet protocol, you can select BACnet as the default protocol for compatibility.
In case of BAS-2000 controllers employed with machinery or field instrumentations supporting Modbus, the Modbus/RTU protocol can allow the BAS-2000 to connect with this equipment.
The BAS-2000 series enables easy I/O expansion by using a local bus to link to the BAS-2020 and BAS-2014 I/O expansion modules.
This design provides a more cost-effective solution for building automation systems. Request a free brochure from Advantech (UK) ...
