Construction Law in Court
Next event in Axiom Advocates' Third Thursday Series is a seminar on Construction law, chaired by Heriot Currie QC.
How can a party, settling a multi-party construction dispute, ensure he can then recover the amount of the settlement from another party to the dispute? James Wolffe QC will answer this question in a talk entitled "Settle first; claim later?" Garry Borland, Advocate, will then review recent cases on the subject of implied terms in construction contracts
