Baggeridge help with new school garden.
Walsall school is well on its way to finishing work on a brand new Peace garden thanks to a donation of cobbles from Sedgley-based Baggeridge Brick.
A Walsall school is well on its way to finishing work on a brand new Peace garden thanks to a donation of cobbles from Sedgley-based Baggeridge Brick Plans for the ambitious project at St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Technology College started two years ago after a competition was launched for Year 8 pupils - with the winner seeing their ideas come to life in the new Peace garden

Baggeridge's cobbles, which surround a weeping birch tree, have been laid by Year 10 pupils in an impressive circular shape and Andrew Cox, assistant head teacher has been impressed with the work carried out.
He comments: "We created a disability ramp throughout the old garden which identified the need to provide a new peace garden in the central area.
"Once complete, pupils will not only be able to enjoy the garden during recreational periods, but as many of them have been trying their hand at building, and laying products, this means they are also now armed with skills they will be able to use in years to come.
It has been a really successful project and our thanks must go to Baggeridge".
Alison Adderley, Baggeridge's marketing manager concludes: "It's great to know that young people are keen to get involved with construction projects and who knows, perhaps in a few years we'll see some of these pupils working at Baggeridge!".
