Baggeridge big order at Baltic Triangle
Baggeridge Brick has secured a contract to supply its clay cladding system, Corium, for use on the Baltic Triangle project in Liverpool.
Baggeridge Brick has secured a £250,000 contract to supply its clay cladding system, Corium, for use on the Baltic Triangle project in Liverpool Approximately 4350 sq metres of the product will be used over a four mile area of the redevelopment, incorporating three separate buildings, which will be a mix of commercial and residential buildings and represents the largest order the company has ever received for the product

The revolutionary patented Corium system comprises genuine brick tiles which have been specially designed to fix mechanically to a steel backing clip.
These are then installed in horizontal rows onto the backing structure and the tiles are mechanically fixed into place.
It's ideal for refurbishment and offsite projects as the cladding is a lightweight system and can be fixed up to twenty storeys high, yet still maintains its strength and durability.
It fits with today's focus in the building and construction industry of prefabrication and speed of erection and also provides an ideal alternative to brick in the commercial sector.
Because of this Corium has become increasingly recognised and used by a variety of contractors - particularly those who are looking for a cladding solution that can meet the requirements of fast track schemes.
The order at Baltic Triangle will be supplied in an initial deployment of 900sq metres and then in further monthly instalments of 500sq metres until the project is complete.
