Demand soars for Plympton paver
Plympton paver Mike Taylor is struggling to keep up with demand as customers choose Baggeridge's pavers .
Gardens today are, for many, an extension of the home with more and more people spending sizeable chunks of money making their garden the envy of the street.
So much so, that Plympton paver Mike Taylor is struggling to keep up with demand.
He said: "Over the last couple of years the popularity of pavers has risen dramatically".
"Customers are buying them in all shapes, sizes and colours to make their gardens more individual".
"Because they are durable and have longevity they have become a more popular choice compared to other products which overtime can fade".
"Most of my customers are choosing Baggeridge's pavers because they see the gardens and driveways I create and want to replicate the same".
"It's very much been a domino affect during the last 12 months and testament to the superb choice that is available today".
During the last six months, Mike has paved a staggering 40 driveways which equates to more than 120,000 pavers.
One satisfied Plympton homeowner, Mrs Brown from School Close, has recently had her driveway and garden completed by Mike's skilled hands.
She said: "My garden is very much my outdoor living room and it has been transformed into a place where I can relax and unwind".
"The pavers have made it look very attractive and they are also relatively maintenance free - something which I wanted from the very beginning".
Baggeridge's pavers have been developed using natural clay for durability, versatility and for creating a number of unique appearances for high quality patios, paths, gardens and driveways.
Another customer of Mick's is Mr Hicks from Meadow Way who said: "I had lived with tarmac for many years but my driveway was beginning to look very tired".
"I chose pavers because I liked the look of other people's driveways and wanted exactly the same".
Mike is now booked up until the end of 2005 but is anticipating next year to be just as busy in the paver laying stakes!.
