Thornhill Red Multi and Autumn Fern Blend have been a popular choice amongst the UK's largest housebuilders and builder's merchants.

These two products were launched onto the market less than one year ago following a Baggeridge consultation event at its Kingsbury factory Key customers were invited to attend an intensive two-day consultation event to discuss product specification, regional planning requirements and trends within the construction sector and less than 12 months since their inception, these products are currying favour with developers and self builders alike, and in doing so, are being propelled to the top of Baggeridge's current best seller list

Both bricks are ideal for use on brownfield sites - with its red and black tones, the Thornhill Red Multi is particularly successful in the Midlands and North of England where their appearance makes them a perfect match for homes in the surrounding area and the Autumn Fern Blend, with its red, orange and yellow, weathered facade are proving popular when creating a traditional feel.

Paul Hodgkinson, Baggeridge's national developer sales manager is delighted that the Thornhill Red Multi and Autumn Fern Blend are proving so popular.

He said: "Listening closely to key customers helped us recognise that they, and the house building sector as a whole, were crying out for new products that could ideally 'fit' specific residential areas across the UK.

"As the UK's largest independent brick manufacturer, we have a duty to help our customers in any way we can.

Local planners have specific requirements that housebuilders have to work hard to satisfy and in offering them additional competitively priced products from which to choose from means they are able to meet their stringent briefs.".
