New Bahco Short Handle Tools

These tools are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over a long working life, avoiding hand and wrist injuries resulting from high pressure and heavy usage.

For accessing confined spaces, Bahco Tools has developed two new, short handle, wide jaw tools - the 8231 Slip Joint Plier and 9029 Adjustable Wrench.

Ideal for plumbers, electricians, heating engineers and maintenance workers, these tools are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over a long working life, avoiding hand and wrist injuries resulting from high pressure and heavy usage.

At 170mm long, the new 9029 Adjustable Wrench is small enough to carry in a tool belt or pocket, yet has a jaw opening of 32mm, so is big enough for a wide range of tasks.

The head has thin but strong jaws, and a 15-degree angle to the handle for optimum working leverage.

The ergonomically designed handle is covered in thermoplastic for a safe, comfortable grip even when wet or oily.

The new 8231 Slip Joint Plier is available at 225mm long with outstanding jaw opening of 51mm.

Features include the one-handed setting, which allows the user to press a button on the upper handle to adjust the parallel jaws into 11 different positions, for a wide range of applications.

The robust steel plier has Ergo-designed tough polypropylene handles with a thermoplastic covering.

As well as superior grip for safe working, the low thermal conductivity covering provides protection from heat and cold, whilst feeling warm and comfortable to the hand.

Developed under Bahco's constant research and development into the tool requirements of professional users, both new products have undergone Bahco's rigorous 11-point Ergo design programme, to ensure they provide maximum comfort for long-term use.
