Kbbreview EXPO partners with RIBA

RIBA to run dedicated CPD seminar programme at London's leading kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tile, stone and flooring trade show.

kbbreview EXPO, London's leading trade show for anyone in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tile, stone and flooring market, is teaming up with RIBA to offer architects a unique opportunity - a dedicated RIBA accredited CPD seminar programme.

RIBA, the Royal Institute of British Architects, is the professional body for UK architects and members are required to maintain their knowledge and expertise with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations every year.

RIBA provides accredited seminars, events and courses that members can attend and now, for the first time at a UK kitchen, bedroom and bathroom show, there will be a programme specifically designed to give architects a substantial opportunity to contribute to their CPD quota with accredited kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tile, stone and flooring seminars.

In fact, architects can also add to their CPD simply by attending the show.

This is the only kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tile, stone and flooring trade event in 2009 that offers this service to architects.

Mark Pearson, show manager for kbbreview EXPO, said: "We're delighted to team up with RIBA to offer this unique proposition to architects.

Clearly they're a key target audience for our exhibitors and their own dedicated seminar programme will make this a must-attend event for them.

"But equally, this is a great opportunity for them to learn what the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tile, stone and flooring markets have to offer in one visit and one venue.

Architects are no different than the core retailer visitor to EXPO, they want to see the latest products of course, but they also want to increase their knowledge of the latest developments in technology, design, legislation and best practice, and we're now in a unique position to provide that across the whole sector".

The RIBA CPD seminar programme will run alongside the comprehensive EXPO seminar timetable already in development.

"EXPO was already a great show," said Pearson.

"But with the addition of the Tile and Stone Show and Floorstyle we moved it into a whole new gear.

Now we're also announcing the RIBA CPD-seminar programme it's clear that in a tough market it's more important than ever to offer the whole industry a show that demonstrates confidence, forward thinking and development and that's EXPO.
