Barnshaws completes Dubai airport

Sections including HEB500's and 200 x 100 RHS were curved to multiple radii in the same bar.

Most sections had 5 or 6 radii in the same bar.

All the sections were independently checked prior to dispatch to ensure a 100% quality supply.

Cleveland Bridge the leading fabricator in the region chose Barnshaws as the supplier due to the complicated nature of the job.

The job was curved on 3 machines including the Worlds largest bending machine capable of cold bending tubes up to 60' x 2' wall (1524mm x 40 mm thick).

The machine will be aimed at the bridge and large span building market where previously only expensive induction bending and post bend heat treating was the option.
