A Balfour Beatty product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Sep 24, 2007

Balfour Beatty Utilities sponsored a local fundraiser to run the Robin Hood Nottingham Half Marathon to help raise money for Barnsley Coronary Care.

Only a short distance away from the company's Head Office in Chapeltown, Sheffield, the charity is based in the Barnsley General Hospital and works to provide treatment and care for patients who have suffered heart problems.

Paul Spencer Winterton completed the race amongst more than 6,500 fellow runners in just two hours and 26 minutes.

"I am so pleased to receive such a generous contribution from Balfour Beatty Utilities".

"This money will go a long way to providing much needed monitors and equipment for the charity.".
