Balfour Beatty utility businesses join
forces
Balfour Beatty announces the merger of its two utility operating businesses, Balfour Beatty Utilities and Balfour Beatty Power Networks.
The new business, Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, will be the largest multi-utility solutions provider in the UK, well placed to respond to the fast changing markets in which the business operates Also, it will be one of the largest operating companies in the Balfour Beatty Group with turnover in excess of GBP600 million per annum
Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions works for most of the major utility companies across the electricity, water and gas markets in the UK, along with selected overseas markets.
Phil Brookes, Managing Director Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, commenting today said: "The merger of our utilities businesses will reap many rewards in terms of simplifying our customer points of contact, allowing us to build on our existing customer base and maximising future opportunities whilst aligning the company more closely with its customers' requirements".
