Balfour Kilpatrick, the multi services and power systems business of Balfour Beatty plc, has been awarded two education contracts for the Manchester BSF scheme.

Newall Green High School and St Paul's High School have a combined award value of GBP6.9m.

Balfour Kilpatrick has secured a GBP4.3m contract for St Paul's High which is due for completion in spring 2009 and Newall Green High is due for completion in autumn 2008.

Both projects are currently underway.

The scope of work for both schools comprises the design, supply and installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, working with client Balfour Beatty Construction and ultimate client Manchester City Council.
