Cruickshanks get Chesterfield substation
contract
Cruickshanks, the high voltage substation business of Balfour Kilpatrick, has been awarded a contract to refurbish Chesterfield 132kV substation.
Chesterfield is an existing 132kV double busbar station and is located to the south of Sheffield The scope of work includes project management, design, manufacture, delivery, removal, installation and commissioning
The programme has a duration of four years with site enabling works being carried out in late 2007 and the switchgear changes phased through 2008 to 2010.
