Balfour Beatty triple topping out in
Scotland
Balfour Beatty Construction has recently topped out three projects totalling over GBP200 million, in three individual site ceremonies in Glasgow and East Kilbride.
The first in the trio of ceremonies was at the new Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow where Scottish Government Minister for Health and Wellbeing, Nicola Sturgeon troweled off the final section of concrete in an area which will become the Hospital's main canteen The Minister then returned to the New Victoria Hospital on the South side of Glasgow where she commended the workforce on both hospitals for their excellent progress to date

Balfour Beatty is the construction partner to Canmore Partnership in the PPP concession for the new Victoria and Stobhill Hospitals in Glasgow working for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The project, which began in August 2006, involves some GBP180 million of design and construction work and is due for completion in spring 2009.
Finally, South Lanarkshire College Chairman, Ian Macpherson topped out the new college building in East Kilbride.
Balfour Beatty Construction is the main contractor on the GBP19 million design and build new college facility due for completion in the first half of 2008.
