Balfour Kilpatrick gain 'Investor in
People'
Balfour Kilpatrick, the multi services and power systems business of Balfour Beatty plc, recently received official confirmation that of its 'Investor in People' accreditation.
The introduction to the report from the Investor in People assessor states: "Real strengths were demonstrated and good practice, some of which is exemplary considering industry norms." The report also highlighted that "Investment in modern apprenticeships is significant" and the company's "Health and safety drive and associated learning and development is exemplary" Gerry Harvey, Balfour Kilpatrick HR director, said "The accreditation recognises the progress the company has made in employee development which has been earned because of the commitment to continuous improvement across the organisation"
