Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services is one of six successful bidders in one of Hampshire County Council's framework contracts for highways improvement works.
The four-year contract starts on 1 May 2008, and offers all successful bidders the opportunity to compete for one-off schemes worth up to the value of GBP500,000 The contract was awarded on a 70:30 price/quality ratio, with the six successful bidders selected from 12 original applicants Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services gained the highest overall mark in the tender assessment
Operations Manager Peter Carruthers, who will lead on this work from Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Services' Pinks depot at Fareham, said: "We are delighted to be one of the chosen contractors on the framework list".
"We look forward to delivering successful projects to Hampshire County Council.".
