Prior to purchasing the Kaup block clamp, G.H.Brooks like many other builders' merchants, despatched goods to customers on pallets.
In addition to the cost of pallets and labour, G.H.Brooks had to wait for a lorry-mounted crane to come into the yard before paving blocks could be moved.
Now, G.H.Brooks can use its forklift truck with standard arms for handling palletised loads, and then quickly and easily slip the block handling arms over the standard forks to lift the block packs on to the truck.
The Kaup block clamps are used on average between six to eight times a day to load G.H.Brooks fleet of trucks.
