Courtmasters swing into action
Sports floor specialist contractors, Courtmasters, have completed work on a West London leisure centre using Becker Acroma's Parquet One lacquer.
The Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre in Brentford offers the widest mix of sports and recreational opportunities for community participation in West London Courtmasters were given the task of refurbishing the centre's gymnasium, weights area and squash courts
Gary McCarthy from Courtmasters chose Parquet One as it meets BS7044 Part 4 for dry slip resistance.
He said, "We have used Parquet One on squash court floors for some time, and with only one coat required it always covers very well".
Brentford Fountain attracts over 1000 visitors every week, so the floors must be tough enough to withstand the high impact footfall.
Leisure centre manager, Chris Jones, said, "Our floors must be hard-wearing, it's vital that the coating will endure for as long as possible".
"We are really pleased with the finish.".
