Laqvin exterior range gives great
performance
Becker Acroma's range of Laqvin exterior coatings has been used in an award-winning refurbishment project of the Young Vic Theatre in London.
The Laqvin products were selected for their ability to cope with the ultraviolet light of south-facing conditions, while looking great for years to come Becker Acroma's clear satin Laqvin exterior coating was selected by The Joinery of Newmarket in Suffolk to coat their bespoke-manufactured glazed screen, 13 metres wide and over 4 metres high, plus five sets of double doors and top-light windows

The Young Vic refurbishment project, which was devised by architects Haworth Tompkins, has received an array of highly acclaimed awards; the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Award, RIBA National Award, RIBA London Building of the Year 2007, LEAF (Leading European Architects' Forum) Public Building Award and it was also short-listed for the RIBA Stirling Prize.
The RIBA said of the Young Vic, "[It is] a building well worthy of architecture's premier prize".
