Articulated dump truck specialist Bell Equipment UK has broken new ground with the introduction of its revolutionary industrial tracked scraper tractors to the UK.
On show was the 37-tonne B370CDLC excavator alongside a B25D and B30D ADT.
As a result, the Bell team received more than a dozen strong enquiries from potential customers.
Deals have already been signed for two B25Ds - within three weeks of the exhibition - and negotiations are nearing completion for two Bell excavators and an additional three dump trucks.
Bob Aldridge, sales and marketing manager for Bell Equipment UK, said: "The weather was not particularly kind to us during the event, but we were pleasantly surprised by the number of good people that turned up to see us.
"It was also very refreshing to see Bell's senior people there supporting us, and a lot of customers commented on that".
Mr Aldridge attended the event alongside UK managing director Neville Paynter, Scottish regional sales manager George Graham and members of the Bell Credit team.
Around 4,000 people attended Scotplant 2006, which was held on April 6th and 7th near Edinburgh.
