Busy BBA At Interbuild
The BBA Certificate Holders Stand at Interbuild was a great success, situated in a prominent position in the Structural Building Materials Hall, with a large number of visitors and events.
The BBA Certificate Holders Stand at Interbuild was a great success, situated in a prominent position in the Structural Building Materials Hall, with high profile displays and a large number of visitors and events during the five days of the exhibition We were delighted that DTI Construction Minister Nigel Griffiths was able to spend some time on our stand as part of his Opening Tour and, as well as a brief discussion with BBA Chief Executive Peter Hewlett, the Minister kindly presented the BBA Innovation Awards

The winner was Quantal for their "A(BBA) Music to your ears" campaign for conservatory roofs, with runner-up Celuform and highly commended Second Nature.
We were also delighted to welcome ODPM Housing Minister Lord Rooker onto the stand as part of a tour of exhibits relating to offsite manufacture of housing units.
This is a busy area for the BBA at the moment, with a number of Certificates issued for what is increasingly referred to as Modern Methods of Construction and several assessments are underway.
