BBA offers sliding door PAS 23/4 test

The British Board of Agrement (BBA) can now offer security testing of sliding doors to the requirements of Secured by Design.

Alan Thomas, sales and marketing director at the BBA, said: 'As the UK's major approval body in the window and door sector and with a great relationship with system suppliers and fabricators, we want to make sure we are well placed to meet the requirements of the market.

'Secured by Design is becoming increasingly important and as a potential weak point in the security of any home, extending the Secured by Design scheme to sliding doors is a logical development.
