A new CD Rom from the British Stainless Steel Association [BSSA] contains a previously unpublished report on the 'The Use of Stainless Steel Reinforcement in Bridges'.

It will also highlight post-fabrication cleaning.
Specialists from Outokumpu Stainless, TWI and the British Stainless Steel Association [BSSA] will outline best welding practices and correct some of the current misconceptions concerning fabricating with stainless steel.
The workshop should interest anyone already involved in the fabrication of products in stainless steel but equally will be of interest for those with little or no experience of working with the material.
The event is organised by TWI, Outokumpu Stainless and the BSSA under the Joining Forces Wales banner in association with the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, the Association of Welding Distributors and Material Network Wales.
Both The Welding Institute and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining will accredit the workshop as a CPD event.

The enrolment fee is £55 + VAT which includes provision of lunch and a copy of the workshop handbook.
