Dynamic new team at BWF
British Woodworking Federation makes three new appointments.
In a restructuring of its marketing function, the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has made three new appointments and promoted Ruth Soundarajah from her role as manager of the Wood Window Alliance to BWF Marketing Director Malcolm Dyer, Ruth Oloyede and Leah Williams join BWF with a diverse range of experience that will bring new ideas and direction to the organisation and its membership schemes

Timber Windows Still On The Up
In the six months to February 2004, a net 21% of timber window manufacturers reported increased sales, with 53% stable, compared with the previous six months.
The restructure is a move by BWF to widen the breadth of expertise and talent available to its members.
Malcolm Dyer joins as Marketing Manager for the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door and Doorset Scheme.
His remit will include continuing to help members increase sales and educating the construction industry about the importance of specifying third party certified fire doors.
Formerly MD of successful marketing agency UK Design, Malcolm brings with him more than 20 years marketing expertise.
He will also bring some unique insight from 29 years as a retained fire officer.
Ruth Oloyede comes to the BWF from Binatone Telecom as Marketing Manager for the Wood Window Alliance (WWA).
Drawing on her international marketing experience Ruth will continue to promote wood windows as a sustainable and attractive solution to specifiers, architects and consumers.
Leah Williams has been appointed as Training Manger for the WITForum.
She will further develop the work of the WITForum and manage all its day to day activities.
She will also look after the BWF's Timber Training Programme, a three-module programme designed to promote understanding of working with wood.
Leah has a degree in Politics and Eastern European Studies from University College London.
BWF chief executive Richard Lambert says: "We are delighted to introduce our dynamic new team to our members".
"Their diverse range of skills and experience will offer a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to all BWF programmes and schemes.".
