Biscoe + Stanton develops second London-style residential and commercial development in Cambridge.
Situated on a semi-derelict triangular site just south of the city, the development features 136 dwellings divided in to one, two and three bedroom apartments and 20 penthouses, four commercial units with dedicated entrance pavilion, residents' leisure suite and landscaped courtyard.
An undercroft parking facility for 127 cars in addition to six, on-street parking spaces for use by The Belvedere's occupants are also included.
Employing traditional building materials such as brick, painted steel and cast stone, the imaginative design incorporates a dramatic 10-storey, silver metal clad tower with oval apex.
Currently Cambridge's tallest residential building, the 110 feet high tower is surrounded by seven, four and five storey low rise blocks.
Working in conjunction with Highland Properties each individual apartment has been completed to an exceptionally high standard with under-floor heating and superior quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
State-of-the-art kitchens feature stainless steel fittings and Amtico flooring.
Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware with Porcelonosa tiled floors have been used throughout the bath and shower rooms.
The commercial units and leisure suite are due for completion this summer.
