Biscoe + Stanton develops second London-style residential and commercial development in Cambridge.

Following the success of The Belvedere, Cambridge's first London-style, £21 million development featuring a £1 million penthouse, architect Biscoe + Stanton is delighted to announce that a second similar scheme for the area, The Levels, is currently under construction Working in conjunction with leading developer Highland Homes, the architects have designed 38 luxuriously appointed apartments for private ownership, and a further 16 social housing units that have now been pre-sold to Flagship Housing

Set to bring a new lifestyle experience to Cambridge and due for completion at the end of this year, Biscoe + Stanton's latest innovative project is located adjacent to The Belvedere, to the south of the city centre.

Featuring large terraces and projecting balconies, the one and two bedroom apartments are being completed to an exceptionally high standard in line with all Highland Homes' developments.

For example, under-floor heating and superior quality fixtures and fittings are being introduced throughout, and stainless steel fittings and Amtico flooring to the kitchens.

Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware and Porcelonosa tiled floors have been specified for the bath and shower rooms.

Employing a palate of traditional brick, painted steel and pre-cast stone, Biscoe + Stanton has also imaginatively introduced sections of vibrantly coloured paneling to the building's exterior.

Once completed, The Levels will incorporate commercial units spanning 3,500 square feet, together with a dedicated entrance hall.

A 43 space car park for the development's occupants is also included.

"We are delighted to again be working with one of the most pro-active and exciting developers in Cambridge," said Paul Crowther, partner, Biscoe + Stanton.

"This is our third project in Cambridge for Highland, and is further endorsement of our successful working relationship.".
