Bison's Precast Concrete is specified for Gentoo

Bison Manufacturing is working closely with Gentoo Construction to supply its precast Hollowcore flooring and staircase products for a regeneration scheme in Northumberland.

Bison is providing Hollowcore alongside staircases for the upper level areas of the development.

The mixed use development for Gentoo Homes includes 51 one and two bedroom apartments, 18 affordable homes and provision for seven retails units.

The ability of Bison's Hollowcore flooring to insulate against airborne sound transfer was a strong factor in the business winning the precast contract for the scheme.

Capable of resisting airborne sound with no additional insulation, Bison's Hollowcore product was installed on-site and then fixed with an impact-resistant membrane to further improve the acoustic performance of the precast units - an important factor given the number of apartments included in the development.
