B and K Timber Structures has announced three new contract wins in the retail sector totalling over GBP2.1m.
Following the opening of a new state of the art eco retail store by ASDA in Oldham, B and K Timber Structures has been selected to build the timber frame structure on a second eco store for ASDA in Bootle, Merseyside.
The GBP960k contract will see B and K Timber Structures working with Bowmer and Kirkland.
The team will undertake the coordination of the design, supply and installation of the Glulam engineered timber frame structure.
The company has also been selected to complete the timber frame structure of a new Sainsbury's store in Dartmouth.
The retail store for Sainsbury's will be built using environmentally sustainable Glulam engineered timber.
B and K Timber Structures has been awarded the GBP450k contract to value engineer and design the store's Glulam frame and curved roof members, working alongside Stride Treglown Architects and main contractor Kier Western.
A third contract win will see B and K Timber Structures working alongside Joseph Doyle Architects and Dublin based contractor's J.
Manning and Son to complete the timber frame structure of a new Tesco eco store in Southern Ireland.
B and K Timber Structures has been awarded the GBP760k contract to value engineer and design the Tesco store's Glulam engineered timber frame.
B and K Timber Structures is a trading division of B and K Steelwork Fabrications Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bowmer and Kirkland Group, and specialises in the manufacture and installation of Glulam timber engineering in addition to timber and steel hybrid structures.
