Blyweert Beaufort offers high rise curtain walling
Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium has added Kratos thermally enhanced aluminium high rise curtain walling to its range of products for the high end specification market.
Designed exclusively in the UK, Kratos curtain walling can incorporate any of the company's Secured by Design windows and entrance doors, including the Krios security door, the first in the UK to achieve the LPS 1175 Grade 2 certification.

This creates a high performance and fully integrated building envelope solution.
Kratos is based around a range of high strength mullion designs, providing a choice of installation methods including traditional stick build or semi-unitised construction.
Drainage can be zonal or concealed within the mullions.
A range of glazing panels from 6mm to 50mm thickness can be incorporated, enabling impressive thermal performance Uf of 1.3W/m2K with a standard 28mm glazing panel.
A Uf of 0.87W/m2K can be achieved with a 50mm glazing panel, without resorting to high insulation variations.
External cappings are available in a range of styles and finishes providing design freedom to suit any requirements.
Kratos has been designed to exceed all known standards and regulations for thermal insulation, air permeability, wind resistance and water penetration.
Kratos has already successfully completed a thorough testing programme to CWCT standards, resulting in full CWCT accreditation for weathertightness at the highest level.
Russell Yates, technical director at Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium explained: "The CWCT is the leading authority on commercial windows and curtain walling and carries significant kudos in architectural circles, ensuring our customers can demonstrate the system's outstanding performance to specifiers and main contractors".
Kratos signals the next phase of Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium's strategy to provide the market with an innovative approach to fully integrated products that combine design freedom, structural performance and practical fabrication benefits.
