And being clean, durable and recyclable, the BLUCHER EuroPipe product is considerably friendlier to the environment than most of its alternatives.
BLUCHER EuroPipe has a track record spanning over 25 years and has been used for millions of linear metres of waste, soil, and rainwater drainage throughout the UK and Europe.
The system comes complete with a full complement of bends, branches, couplers, reducers, fixing brackets, and accessories.
Matching stainless steel drains, gullies, linear channels and grease separators are also available and special fabrications can be made to order.
With the new bore size the standard range now comprises six diameters - 50, 75, 110, 125, 150 and 200mm - in lengths from 0.15 to 6 metres.
"The range of sizes and options combined with its excellent spanning capability makes this one of the most versatile systems on the market," says BLUCHER UK's technical manager Frank Netherwood.
"Its light weight, compact dimensions, excellent aesthetics and inherent durability means it can be used in many situations where other pipe materials would be unsuitable.
And its fast and reliable push-fit connections result in 100% leak proof joints that pass air test first time, adding to the overall cost-effectiveness of the system." BLUCHER EuroPipe has a design expectancy of over 50 years and carries full BBA certification.
As a low maintenance product its cost-in-use is extremely low, and when its functional life finally comes to an end it can be reused or recycled back without incurring any performance penalty.
It is suitable for a wide range of commercial, domestic, industrial and marine applications.
Several independent studies have shown that the installed cost of BLUCHER EuroPipe is considerable less than that of other pipe alternatives such as cast iron.
Says BLUCHER UK Managing Director Peter Hardiman: "The light weight, long lengths and push-fit connections mean that BLUCHER Europipe can be fitted in a fraction of the time of other drainage systems.
Furthermore, its successful installation is not dependant on high levels of skill or the application of hazardous solvents or heat sources.
We expect our strong sales growth to continue as the market increasingly accepts the whole life cost advantages of using stainless steel.".
